Each year’s Rosé is unique; like a solo, it’s different every time. Our 2021 blend is a beautiful, peachy rose-pink, the deeper color attributable to twenty-four hours of skin contact. This harmonious vintage feature equal amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Primitivo, and Cabernet Franc. Each variety is fermented separately and blended after fermentation is complete, just before bottling. In the resulting ensemble, each member rises and simultaneously embellishes the melody, a style known as group improvisation. You’ll note bright acidity with tastes of ripe strawberries, raspberries, and grapefruit. It ends with a dry finish and a hint of chocolate. Would pair well with scallops, white fish, pork loin, black forest cake or brownies.
